The Logicians club frequently organizes games and projects to showcase students’ analytical skills and keen knack for numbers.

Art Insight – Art Club

Art gives educators and students a safe space to interpret and analyse the world around them, as well as a wonderful chance to develop their artistic eye.

Extra Curricular Activities – Secondary

The Extracurricular Enrichment Program aims to develop the following pressing life skills in our students:

Media Literacy

Our students live in a world of 24/7 media, be it from the TV, computer, phone, or social media. It is for this reason that we believe media literacy is an extremely important skill for our students to develop. Media literate students are better prepared to differentiate between facts and opinion and identify propaganda. Students will also learn to think critically and analyse what they are being told to believe on different media platforms, be they written or online. HGS offers content writing, journalism, and media communications classes to improve students’ media literacy.

Virtual Collaboration

Teamwork is an essential skill to develop not only in one’s professional career but also in day-to-day life. Learning to collaborate with others is a fantastic skill, and at HGS we offer students the chance to engage in virtual collaboration opportunities in the form of programs with the UNAP or Duke of Edinburgh Programme.

Initiative & Entrepreneurship

The ability to turn one’s intentions into reality is one of the most effective and sophisticated skills anyone could ever learn. At HGS, we encourage our students to use the school’s many resources to turn their dreams into a reality. Subjects that also fall in line with this core value are Business Studies and Problem Solving via Design Thinking. Habib Girls’ School graduates know the importance of taking solid action to make the world a better place!

Computer & Digital Literacy

As with media literacy, computer literacy is also an extremely important skill for today’s students. At HGS, we make sure our students know not only how to use the basics of a computer, but also how to use the internet in a way that is safe, respectful, and useful!
