Our Approach
It is said that the early childhood years lay the foundation for a child’s lifelong learning and character. At the HPS Pre-Junior Section, we embrace this belief by creating nurturing environments where curiosity, creativity, and confidence take root.
Our teachers use play-based learning, inquiry-driven exploration, sensory experiences, and collaborative activities to build strong, curious, and balanced young minds. Each classroom is a space where children grow socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually, preparing them for a lifelong love of learning.
Admission Procedure
(Academic Session 2026-27 For Class ONE)
The application process broken down into 5 easy steps.
1.
Eligibility Criteria
For the session 2026 – 2027, BOYS born between 1st February 2020 – 31st January 2021 are eligible to apply.
AGE RANGE: On 1st August 2026 candidates must be 5.5 years to 6.5 years old.
Parents of Over & Under Age candidates can contact the Admission Department. (Mon – Fri between 10am & 12pm)

Registration
Registration Update:Grade 1 Admissions for 2026-27 have been CLOSED.
Parents who are still interested may kindly contact the Admission Office during office hours for further guidance.
Visiting Hours: Monday to Friday | 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
3.
Entrance Assessment –
Phase I
There will be a Child’s Academic, Social & Emotional Assessment.
Assessment Date: Saturday, 31st January 2026
Result Date & Time: Mon, 9th Feb 2026 at 12 pm (school website)
4.
Parents Interview – Phase II
Phase I Assessment results are announced. Click the link below to see qualified candidates and their Phase II Parent Interview schedule.
Note: Both parents must attend the interview. Please do not bring the candidate.
5.
Final Selection
The Final List of Qualified Candidates for Class 1 (Grade 1) has been uploaded.
Parents of selected students are requested to follow the schedule below to complete the enrollment process.

For the session 2025 – 2026, BOYS born between 1st February 2019 – 31st January 2020 are eligible to apply.
2.
Registration
We will be accepting online applications for Admission Session 2025-26 from Monday, 4th November 2024 till Friday, 10th January 2025 before 12pm (afternoon).
3.
Entrance Assessment – Phase I
There will be a Child’s Academic, Social & Emotional Assessment

Eligibility
For the session 2024 – 2025, children born between 1st February 2018 – 31st January 2019 will be eligible to apply.
4.
Parent Interview
Successful applicants’ parents will be invited to an interview with the school’s admissions committee. In this step of the admission process, parents will be interviewed to see if they can support their children’s academic journey at HPS and if their values match with the school’s.
5.
Final Selection
The admission’s committee then reviews applications, transcripts, Admission Assessment, Social & Emotional Assessment), and the interview to make their decision. Selections are made solely based on merit.

Parent Interview – Phase II
Parents of qualified candidates will be invited to an interview with the school’s admission committee. In this step of the admission process, parents will be interviewed to see if they can support their children’s academic journey at HPS and if their values match with the school’s.
5.
Final Selection
The final selection of candidates for admission will be based on the child’s performance in the Entrance Assessment (Phase I) and the Parent Interview (Phase II). Admissions are granted solely on the basis of merit.
Final Merit List will be published on the website on Tuesday, 4th March at 12 pm.
