Our Approach

The Middle Section at Habib Public School is designed to bridge the gap between elementary and high school. Our approach is to develop a strong academic work ethic, problem-solving skills, and self-directed learning in our students. We provide a supportive and challenging environment where students are encouraged to explore their interests, ask questions, and engage in meaningful discussions. By empowering them with a voice in their own education, we prepare them to take on greater academic challenges and become proactive learners and leaders.

Enrichment Programme for Middle Sections

Our students take their pick from a range of exciting courses offered by the Exploratory Program.

 

This program has been specially designed by our staff to supplement students’ learning in the classroom and to encourage them to develop a range of important soft skills that will contribute to their personal and professional success. The Exploratory Program will help students to learn and apply crucial critical reasoning, problem-solving, and thinking skills. In grade VI and VII, students can pick from the following courses in the Exploratory Program:

  • ART
  • Band
  • Computers
  • Drama
  • Research/Debate
  • A variety of leadership programs

Curriculum & Assessment

Change (In the Middle Section (Classes 6 and 7), Habib Public School continues to follow the Cambridge Curriculum, balancing academic rigor with student engagement. Our teaching is supported by a formative assessment system that prioritizes continuous feedback over traditional high-stakes testing. This method allows teachers to quickly identify learning gaps and adjust instruction, ensuring students receive the support they need. Instead of relying on exams, we encourage deeper comprehension through activities like concept mapping and draft submissions. This supportive approach helps students build a solid conceptual foundation as they prepare for higher grades and future academic success.)

Habib Public School follows the Cambridge Curriculum for all subjects from Class 6 to Class 7 and uses formative assessment method with appropriate remarks. Our middle section staff ensures that the students engage with their education but are never overwhelmed by it!

Our aim is to develop inquiring minds, scholarly personalities and thoughtful young people who become the role models of the future. Core values form an important part of our ethos. We encourage inculcating values of empathy, respect, good citizenship, tolerance and understanding within our children by leading with example and embracing diversity.
We have a very hard working, highly qualified and dedicated faculty who will go over and beyond as only the best will do for the children in our care.
