She set up her own firm \u201cDesign Options\u201d in 2002. Her projects have been nominated for Design Excellence Awards and have also been published. Her honorary works for the city include the PAANI project- a mangrove reserve, and Revitalisation of Cantt Station for \u201cPursukoon Karachi\u201d. She is a well reputed member of the Pakistan Council of Architects and Town planners and the Institute of Architects Pakistan. She was one of the first members of the Pakistan Institute of Interior Designers and has served on the EC and Board of Studies of Architecture at the IVS, was President of the IVS Alumni Association.
