Coordination and assigning articles for cover stories on a variety of social, environmental and civic issues is a part of her major role as a sub-editor, through which she aims to create awareness and garner public support on various issues. As part of her freelance development consultancy work, she has carried out assignments of research, evaluation, compilation, writing, synthesizing, and summarizing reports since 1999 on social issues with UNICEF, Human Rights Commission of Pakistan and various NGOs in Pakistan.
