Dr. Ayesha Usman Dadabhoy

After securing her medical degree from Sindh Medical College Karachi, Dr. Ayesha practiced in Ireland and Baghdad before returning to Pakistan in early 90s. Dr. Ayesha established a non-profit, non-governmental organization ‘Healthcare Services’ for health. She has been looking after the health of more than 6000 school children for the last 20 years. She has reached out to thousands of families through public seminars and distributing newsletters and pamphlets on asthma, growth and development, nutrition and school related injuries to name a few. She has trained doctors, Paramedics and even school children in dispensing first aid. As a provincial consultant in 2003, she has contributed in making of the national plan for children and prepared a report on child welfare. She has been working for the rehabilitation of the visually challenged since 2003.<
